Al Volo del Nibbio is an ancient farmhouse set in 85 private hectares of the Tuscan Apennines, at 700 mts above sea level, near the attractive town of Marradi.

The owner, an architect, lives in the adjoining hunter's lodge and personally supervised the farmhouse's recent restoration, using traditional materials to preserve the original style while installing every modern comfort in two apartments and a common entertainment and relax area on the ground floor.

There is a swimming pool with panoramic views, a shaded loggia area and tended lawns. The surrounding forests are rich in flora and fauna.

	A holiday or weekend break at Al Volo del Nibbio can be just a lazy, totally relaxing experience in the tranquility of an unspoiled landscape.
Adventurous guests will appreciate the trekking, cycling and horse riding trails that reach as far as Gamogna Hermitage, Acquacheta, Trebbana, Passo della Colla and even to Vallombrosa and the Tuscan Maremma.
	Within 8km are a tennis club and a riding school. Our guests can enjoy a special arrangement with the best restaurants of Marradi, where you can savour a local menu for about 13 Euros.

	GROUND FLOOR Common entertainment areas In the common rooms you may choose to rest and read, to play snooker on an antique billiards table, bake bread in the wood-fired oven or grill dinner to enjoy outdoor. The two separate apartments are upstairs.
Il Falco Apartment: On the first floor , Il Falco consists of a large sitting-room with fireplace and TV, kitchenette, dining area, a double bedroom with bathroom and another bedroom (2 beds) with bathroom. It has its own heating system and its own access to the stairs.
	La Poiana: On the second floor , La Poiana has a large sitting-room with fireplace and TV, a double bedroom with bathroom and another bedroom (2 beds) with bathroom. It has its own heating system and private access.

The sleeping capacity of either apartment can be increased as we can add one or two bedrooms, with bathrooms, to one apartment or the other.
