La Collinaccia,is a stunning, renovated farmhouse set atop the highest ridge of La Collina. The sun rises over Tuscan Romagna Appenines to warm the pool and the shaded breakfast loggia, and sets behind the Appenines that stretch out endlessly from the front of the house. There's no other building to interrupt the view.

 

La Collinaccia, originally a shepherd’s house, is today a comfortable villa with all modern comfort. Only the finest local materials -terracotta flooring, chestnut from local trees and tiles from the nearby factory of Faenza were used for restoration works.

On the ground floor, a very spacious living room with a feature fireplace looks out to the north and the east. Behind it are three double bedrooms with built-in closets and three bathrooms. Also overlooking the wooded hills of Toscany is a dining room and a large, fully-equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a further double bedroom with its own bathroom.

 

 

 

The facilities include gas-fired water and central heating, dishwasher, washing machine and satellite TV. The 5x10meter pool (open from first of June to the end of September) is set in the lawn adjoining the house.
