Mazzino villa stands on a bluff overlooking the Lutirano valley. Originally a hundreds years old farmhouse, it has been beautifully converted into a charming villa by a well known Italian Architect, who specializes in renovation of ancient buildings of Florence. Every care has been taken to preserve the original appearance, while ensuring that there is every comfort and convenience for our modern way of life.

This villa offers spectacular views from every room. It has three spacious and elegantly decorated double bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a modern and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a separate dining room, comfortable living room with fireplace and satellite television.

All rooms have French doors, opening to the garden outside. Panoramic pool 5m x 10 m. There is also a utility room with washing machine, and an outdoor oven for baking pizzas cakes and breads. Mazzino is surrounded by a wonderful forest.

Mazzino Villa is some 2,000 ft high, on an Appenine ridge. In the valley to the north is the tiny Tuscan village of Lutirano; on the other side, 3kms down the hill in Romagna, is Tredozio. It has butchers, bakers, general stores, bars and banks. A local family owns Henry's the pizzeria that is the favourite eating place. At the other end of town, Il Mulino boasts two Michelin stars.

On summer evenings, in the ancient courtyard of the Palazzo Fantini, there are concerts ranging from jazz to chamber music organised by the province's cultural commission. There are public tennis courts in Tredozio, golf courses at Forlì, Riolo Terme, and Milano Marittima ( 35 miles) on the Adriatic, and trails for mountain biking, horse back -riding and trekking.

A pleasant walk through the woods leads to family farms, where flocks of sheep and goats source cheeses made in the traditional manner. On a scenic drive towards Portico di Romagna you’ll pass the complex of beehives where the Rocchi family produces honey.
